Code of Practice

Our commitment to ethical, transparent, and professional energy brokering.

Energy Pro Consultants Ltd is committed to operating in line with industry best practice for Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) in the UK energy market. This Code of Practice sets out the standards you can expect when working with us.

1. Transparency

We will always clearly explain who we are, what we do, and how we are remunerated. Before you enter into any contract, we will disclose the commission we receive from the supplier and ensure you understand how it affects your unit rate.

2. Impartiality

We are not owned by, or exclusively tied to, any energy supplier. Our recommendations are based solely on what we believe to be in your best commercial interest, taking into account price, contract terms, supplier reputation, and your specific requirements.

3. Accuracy

All quotes, comparisons, and market information we provide will be accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of presentation. We clearly distinguish between estimated and confirmed prices and explain any assumptions made.

4. No pressure selling

We will never pressure you into making a decision. We present options, give our professional recommendation, and allow you the time you need to make an informed choice.

5. Data protection

We treat all client data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Energy consumption data and personal information are shared with suppliers only with your authorisation (via a Letter of Authority) and solely for the purpose of obtaining quotes.

6. Complaint handling

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, we want to know. Our complaints procedure ensures that all concerns are acknowledged within two business days and resolved within 20 business days. Full details are available on our Complaints page.

7. Ongoing service

Our relationship does not end when your contract starts. We provide ongoing account management, bill validation, and proactive renewal management for the duration of your agreement.

8. Regulatory compliance

We comply with all applicable UK legislation, Ofgem guidance for TPIs, and relevant industry codes. We maintain Professional Indemnity insurance and review our processes regularly to ensure continued compliance.
